  • On May 2, 2023, the company proceeded with a name change from Suntech Recycle & Decarbon Co., Ltd. to Wastech Exponential Co., Ltd. (“WTX”) to align with the company's vision.
  • The company initiated the process of obtaining carbon footprint certification for both the organization and its products. This certification involves displaying information for consumers about the amount of greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product's life cycle, verifying the emissions, reductions, and compensations of greenhouse gases, leading the organization towards a low-carbon society. This is in response to Thailand's policy on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, with increased awareness of environmental care and reducing global warming.
  • On July 25, 2023, the company received carbon footprint certification, which provides consumers with information about the greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product's life cycle. The certification was issued by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization).
  • The company holds a 48.99% stake in Suntech Innovation Power Co., Ltd. (a joint venture), engaged in the business of generating electricity from renewable energy. On October 16, 2023, Power Watt 1 Co., Ltd. and Power Watt 2 Co., Ltd. (subsidiaries of the joint venture) signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the electricity produced by the industrial waste power plant located in Bo Win, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province.

  • At the 5th Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on December 7, 2022, a resolution was passed to increase the company's capital from 729,600,000 Baht to 1,110,262,380 Baht, an increase of 380,662,380 Baht. This was achieved by issuing 63,443,730 new ordinary shares, each with a nominal value of 6 Baht. The purpose of this capital increase is to fund working capital, invest in power plants, expand sorting plants, increase production capacity, and prepare for future business ventures, both current and new. This also supports the ongoing commitment to achieving Net Zero Emission, a policy continued from the year 2021.
  • The company participated in a joint venture with Rayong Recycle Waste Co., Ltd. (“RRW”), holding a 30% stake valued at 45 million Baht. RRW was established for the purpose of segregating non-hazardous waste for use as fuel, aligning with our company's business operations.
  • The company invested in The Megawatt Co., Ltd. (“MGW”) by acquiring a 29.84% stake. MGW specializes in providing comprehensive services in construction and the production of electricity from solar cells.
2020
On December 29, 2020, the company was granted permission to use land and operate in an industrial estate. The business activities include the production of shredded scrap metal from automobiles and the transformation of waste from manufacturing processes into Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).
2015
  • The company revised its policies and business plans to focus on environmentally friendly operations. We began expanding our investments in the recycling business, particularly in transforming unused industrial waste into solid fuel.
  • On March 24, 2015, the company received a license to operate a scrap metal processing business. We will be processing scrap metal into raw materials or new products.
